OLEDs are consistently some of the finest TVs around, but they also used to be on the large side. Initially 55in was as small as they came, but then we saw 48in ones and now 42 inches. The TX-42LZ980B is Panasonic’s first stab at a small-screen OLED TV. Was it successful one? Here’s our review.

How we test picture quality
Picture quality tests include broadcast 1080i high-definition TV, Freeview, Freeview HD, viewing angle and the stability of motion in fast action scenes. We also test for 4K Ultra HD and HDR if the TV can support these pictures.
